Now a Potterhead Rants: Why the Final Fight Scene (and a few other parts) of “Deathly Hallows: Part 2” Makes No Freaking Sense

I run Daily Nolan, but it's on hiatus at the moment.
I also just started this nifty little movie review blog! It would mean a lot if you all followed.

I’m going to get this out of the way as early on as possible: I am an incredibly avid Potter enthusiast, and therefore cannot judge any of the movies in the series objectively. There are fans who casually watch the movies, and there are fans who read the books and are hyped up for the movies, and then there are fans like me. The ones who sit at their computer all day refreshing the Fandango page in hopes of getting IMAX tickets to the midnight premiere. Yeah, I’m one of those. And thus, I’ll not even attempt to judge this film as anything other than an adaptation of the final book in my favorite series. (I got those tickets, by the way.)
This review is late as I wanted to watch the film three times to take it all in before I published my judgment for all to read. A stupid reason, mainly because very few people will read this. But because of my unreasonable reason, I can now type with certainty that Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is my favorite film in the franchise. (No, I do not say that about every new movie. Okay, I may have said it the second I walked out of Half-Blood Prince…)

“There are all kinds of courage,” said Dumbledore, smiling. “It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends. I therefore award ten points to Mr. Neville Longbottom.”
